PAHLAWAN ECO-JEWELRY

Mount Rinjani is one of many earth heritage owned by Indonesia. Situated on the island of Lombok, it was officiated as UNESCO Global Geopark in 2013.

Each year the Geopark could welcomes 90,000 tourist but fails to preserve the chastity of the nature. Instead, 14 tonnes of plastic waste are left in the Rinjani each year.

Baraka Nusantara established in 2013 on the foot of Mount Rinjani, is a community movement that strives to explore local potentials for the sake of education advancement and Pahlawan Eco-Jewelry is an initiative made to address this alarming issue as well as part of post-earthquake economic recovery. It is both a resistance against plastic waste as well as a gesture of honor to take care of the nature of Mt. Rinjani.

In collaboration with Trashbox, SOA, and The Bahamas, we exhibited the Sustainable Fashion Products in the Indonesia largest fashion event – Indonesia Fashion Week 2019.
